Standard mini hoops transfer physical impact directly into door panels, causing chipped paint, cracked wood, or bent brackets. To solve this specific point of failure, JunJie Over-the-Door Fold-Up Mini Basketball Hoop Set fits every unit with thick EVA foam padding along the rear structural frame.
Lines the reverse contact points of the 455x305mm backboard to dampen slam-dunk noise and shield door finishes from scuffs during active play.
Allows the 23cm steel rim to deflect downward under load up to a 45-degree angle before snap-returning to horizontal, reducing mechanical stress on the door hooks.
Slides directly over standard residential and office doors (up to 5cm thickness) without requiring wall anchors, screws, or drilling.
In compact bedrooms, college dormitories, and shared living spaces, fixed metal rims project 25 to 30 centimeters outward, creating an ongoing obstruction for doorway traffic.
The Over-the-Door Fold-Up Mini Basketball Hoop Set integrated quick-release spring hinge allows users to pivot the steel rim 90 degrees upward into a completely flush vertical posture. When folded, the entire assembly extends less than 4.5cm from the door face. This allows doors to open fully without colliding with adjacent walls, removing the need to constantly mount and unmount the brackets.
JunJie manufactures the Over-the-Door Fold-Up Mini Basketball Hoop Set rim from a 10mm solid steel rod treated with an electrostatically applied thermo-set powder coat. This coating prevents surface oxidation and paint chipping even under humid indoor conditions.
Reinforced Steel Frame: Resists structural bending under repetitive downward forces up to 12 kg.
Drop-Tested Retail Packaging: Individually packed in a 5-ply protective brown inner box engineered to pass standard courier drop-test standards (ISTA 1A).
Optimized Container Loading: Packed at 10 units per master carton, this set maximizes volumetric efficiency for sea freight from Ningbo or Shanghai, lowering shipping costs per unit for distributors.
No. The top mounting hooks are stamped from 1.5mm thin-gauge carbon steel. This ultra-thin profile fits within the standard 2.5mm to 3mm clearance gap found between residential doors and upper door frames, ensuring smooth door operation without binding.
The 23cm solid steel rim is optimized for mini basketballs ranging from Size 1 (13cm diameter) up to Size 3 (18cm diameter). The kit includes a matching rubber mini basketball and a compact inflation pump with a needle stored inside the pump handle.
The hinge utilizes dual high-tensile carbon steel coil springs rated for over 10,000 fold cycles. The pivot joint uses a steel lock-pin system that prevents side-to-side slop, keeping the rim level during play while remaining easy to fold up manually.
While designed primarily for over-the-door installation, the steel backboard frame includes pre-drilled 6mm anchor holes behind the protective EVA foam pad. B2B clients or end-users can remove the top door hooks and secure the backboard directly to drywall studs, masonry, or wooden walls using standard screws.
